JEROME CLARK DEAD .
According to the Leadville Herald Democrat word was received in Salida Saturday by Mrs. Joseph McKenna of the death in Long Beach, Calif., on March 20 , of Jerome Clark. Jerome CIark was one of the oldtime miners in the Gilman and Leadvilie districts, and he and his wife were residents of Gilman for a great many years, where he was employed by Hicks & Hannington and later by the Empire Zinc company. Mrs. Clark died a few years ago, and not long afterward her husband moved to California , occasionally visiting old friends here since his removal. Mrs . McKenna has gone to California to attend to tho return of Mr . Clark s body to Red Cliff , where it will be buried beside the grave of his wife.
