Oliver Clyde Claypool, brother of Leonard Claypool of Minturn, died at Valley View Hospital January 9 following a short illness. He was born in eastern Colorado Nov. 30 1898 and was 57 years of age at the time of his death. He had lived in Glenwood for the past year and a half, where he was employed as a Carter Oil Company service station attendant. He was a member of the CIO and formerly lived in Littleton. Other than his brother living in Minturn, he is survived by two brothers, Henry of RIfle; and Roy of Holyoke; four sister: Vida Kough, Denver; Alice Nichol, Nowata, OK; Marie Mais, Bellflower, CA; and Viola Hibbard, Welton, AZ. Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of relatives at Farnum Mortuary in Glenwood.
