KILLED AT MINTURN
Last Sunday afternoon about 2 p.m. Loyd Cold while attempting to jump a freight train in the Minturn yards was thrown under the wheels and was literally ground to pieces. Cole has been working for Add Hockett on the ranch at Eagle for the past 2 years until a few weeks ago when he went to work on the ice pond at Pando where he has been driving one of the teams which is being worked at that place by Hockett. He was not working last Sunday and presumably was beating his way through to Eagle to spend the day when the accident happened. Coroner Gilpin was summoned to the scene of the tragedy and brought the body back with him. It being placed in the Graham undertaking parlors. The address of relatives was learned to be Perry, IA and they were communicated with. Cole was about 29 years of age.
