Funeral services for Correll "Cory" Codner of Eagle were held yesterday, Nov. 12 at the Community United Methodist Church in Eagle. The REv. Melanie Downs conducted the service. Cory was buried in Sunset View cemetery in Eagle.

Cory died Friday in a hunting accident three miles north of Eagle. He was 14. Cory was born January 14, 1972 to Jerry and Carol Conder in Glenwood Springs. He grew up and attended elementary and middle school in Eagle. Cory was a freshman at Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum. He enjoyed karate, hunting, fishing, hiking, building model airplanes, playing with animals and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Although Cory was a private person he had a vibrant personality. Cory is survived by his parents, sister, Jennifer of Eagle; grandparents, Pete and Ruby DeGraw of Eagle; and grandparent Arnold Conder of American Fork, UT. Farnum-Richardson Mortuary in Glenwood Springs was in charge o funeral arrangements.
