Beverly Ann Erickson was born July 20, 1941, to Clyde B. Place and Edith M. (Fleming) Place in Grand Junction, Colorado. She went to stroll across Heaven with Leroy on July 25, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital following several years battle with COPD. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; her parents; her brother, Theodore Place, and her great-great-niece, Angel Place. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Beard (Lisa Hall) of Fruita; granddaughters, Ashley and Amber Beard and their mother, Tami Beard of Grand Junction; step-sons, Dan (Sara) Erickson of Wisconsin; Tom (Karen) Erickson of CA; stepdaughters, Cindi (Preston) Cole of CA, and Sandi (Roger) Wustman of OH; nephew, Shane Place and great-nephew, Ted Place, both of Mesa; special niece and nephew, Traci and Clark Kelly of Clifton, CO; special sister and brother-in-law, Tommie and Phillip Crim of Grand Junction, and numerous cousins. Beverly was a homemaker, line manager and racehorse owner. She met the love of her life, Leroy, while they were both employed by Dixon’s. They were married March 1, 1986. Leroy passed away in January, 2010. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, with Deacon Doug VanHouten officiating. Beverly requested that
funeral attire be casual boots and jeans.

Mary’s Hospital.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 9 at New Elmwood Cemetery.
She was a manager and racehorse owner.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Beard of Grand Junction;
one daughter, Lisa Hall-Beard of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.
