ELIZABETH CURRY
On September 2 tst . 10 C 8 , at her homo two miles oast of A von , Elizabeth , beloved wife of Charles Curry , aged 16 years , 2 months and 21 days , passed to tho great beyond . Mrs . Curry had been in poor health for some lime and her death was not unexpected . It resulted from a complication of diseases. She was taken to the Salida hospital in March and underwent an operation in an effort to regain her health . Upon her return in May her condition was somewhat improved , and it was thought she would recover . The reliefproved to be of short duration . Her condition gradually became worse and she lingered until noon of the 21st instant when death ended her suffering . Funeral-services were conducted by the Rev . Jarrurd of Miinturn at the home on the 22nd instant and the remains were followed to their last resting place in tho cemetery on tho Cunningham ranch by a large concourse
