A graveside service was held in Gypsum December 11 for Henry L. (Blackie) Daniels who died in Veterans' Hospital in Grand Junction December 8 at the age of 83. Born April 3, 1888 at Spiro, OK, he formerly lived in the Burns, Colo. community and moved to Clifton 13 years ago. He was married to Terles Van Horn in Eagle in 1956. Mr. Daniels served in World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Glenwood. His wife survives.
