Donna Rae Koch (Reese)
passed away peacefully at
home on Saturday, September
3rd following a brief illness.
Donna was born to former
Mesa County Sherriff
Raymond Reese and Lois
Hecker on January 12th, 1943
in Gunnison, CO.
Donna attended Grand
Junction High school, and
Luther College in Regina,
Saskatchewan, Canada.
Donna married Wilbur Koch
on July 12, 1972. Together
they raised a true “Brady
Bunch” of three boys and
three girls.
She loved and lived life
fully. Many of her happiest
moments were in the presence
of family and friends, holding
a fishing pole, reading a good
book with a puppy on her lap,
pulling a slot machine handle, or walking on the beach.
Donna was a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous
who influenced and inspired many along their journey of
sobriety. From this association she made some of her dearest
friends.
She is survived by; her husband of 44 years, Wilbur Koch of
Grand Junction CO. Children: Carla Jensen of Albuquerque,
NM, Kimberly Cellini (AJ) of Antelope, CA., Raymond Jensen
(Mary Jo) of Grand Junction, CO., Paula Leonard (Rick) of
Phoenix, AZ., Scott Koch (Jennifer) of Grand Junction, CO.,
and Monty Koch of Suisun, CA., eight grandchildren and seven
great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday,
September 8, at 2:00 P.M. at Clifton Christian Church.
Internment will be at Palisade Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Hope West
Hospice or Clifton Christian Church.
