IDA DICKERSON died Wednesday night

Death came suddenly to Ida Kollnig Dickerson, at her home the night of February 3.

While Mrs. Dickerson's health had been failing for the past several months, her passing was wholly unexpected. Suffering from an asthmatic condition, which had put her in the hospital off and on during the past year or so, Mrs. Dickerson called the committee in charge of the Eagle Community Ambulance early Wednesday evening, and asked for the oxygen tank.

Oxygen was administered by Sonny Morgan, Don McLain and Bob Shelton for about an hour, until Mrs. Dickerson said she no longer needed It, and the three men left.

Duane Larsen, a friend in town on business that evening, noticed the ambulance in front of Mrs. Dickerson's home, and when he finished his business call, dropped by to see if he could be of assistance. She died while he was there.

Mrs. Dickerson. 71, was the widow of Harry Dickerson, former Eagle County Treasurer. She had been Deputy Treasurer under F. W. Cave for many years, and In spite of falling health, kept on with her work.

Active in Eastern Star work, she was Past Grand Matron of Colorado, and served in many official capacities in the Eagle OES chapter.

Her brother. Arthur Kollnig, passed away but a few months ago a victim of cancer. Surviving is a nephew. Harry Kollnig of Denver and a sister-in-law Laura Kolinig, also of Denver.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Eagle Masonic Temple. Bowman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
