Andrew Ignacio Gonzales,
82, passed away peacefully at
home on September 6, 2016.
He was born February 26,
1934, in La Jara, Colorado, to
Jose and Helen Gonzales.
Andrew served in the Air
Force at Kirtland Air Force
Base in New Mexico. He was
a computer technician with the phone company. He was married
to Connie Gonzales; they later divorced.
He loved playing Bingo, being outside, and working on his car.
He is survived by his companion, Susan Salazar; daughters,
Tammy (Mark) Sundberg of Carmichael, California; Andrea
(John) Hyde of Grand Junction; Anthonette Ortega of Colorado
Springs, and Brenda Ortega of Grand Junction; sons, Joseph
Gonzales of Grand Junction; Andrew (Bill Verdon) Gonzales II
and Toby Gonzales of Denver; brothers, James Gonzales of
Denver, and Raymond Gonzales of Grand Junction; sisters,
Emily Logan of Northglenn; Marsha Silva of Denver; Matilda
Martinez and Nancy Miera of Thornton, CO; ten grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his
parents; his sister, Virginia Stetson, and Connie Gonzales.
Services will be held September 10, 2016, at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary at 10:00 a.m.

Andrew Ignacio Gonzales, 82, Grand Junction, died Sept. 6,
2016, at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Callahan Edfast Mortuary,
with burial to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
He was a computer technician.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph of Grand Junction, Andrew
II, and Toby, both of Denver; four daughters, Tammy Sundberg of
Carmichael, California, Andrea Hyde of Grnd Junction, Anthonette
Ortega, and Brenda Ortega; two brothers, James Gonzales
of Denver, and Raymond Gonzales of Grand Junction; four sisters,
Emily Logan of Northglenn, Marsha Silva of Denver, Matilda Martinez
and Nancy Miera of Thornton; 10 grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
