MRS. ANNIE DICKSON DIES IN GLENWOOD
Mrs. Annie Dickson, long time resident of Glenwood Springs, and early day resident of Red Cliff, died at her home Sunday evening quite suddenly. Mrs. Dickson, was an aunt of M:fl. Forrest Cave of Eagle and had spent Saturday night here in the Cave home, joining Mr. and Mrs Cave for a trip over Cottonwood Pass to Basalt Sunday, where they spent the day with Mrs- Dickson's daughter, Mrs. Vem Harris on the Harris ranch, in the best of health Mrs. Dickson returned to her home late in the afternoon, and was resting on the porch of her home, when death came in the form of a heart attack.

Annie Sylvanis was born in Oscalosa, lowa, Oct. 3, 1872, and lived in Red Cliff as a young woman, where she married August Dickson Dec 12, 1891. The couple lived in Red Cliff, Aspen and Basalt, before going to Glenwood about 30 years ago. Mr. Dickson passed away in 1948.

Funeral services were Thursday afternoon at the Burdge chapel in Glenwood, with Rev. John B- Porter officiating. Interment was in the Glenwood cemetery and arrangements were under direction of the Burdge Mortuary. Surviving are two daughters, Alvina Harris of Basalt and Rosella Dickson of Helena, Mont; two grandchildren, Mrs. John Walczak of Helena and Charles Harris of Carbondale and four great-grand-children and ’numerous nieces and nephews.
