Orval Clark Dilley died Saturday, October 24 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Il. He was 84.
Born in Elgin, IL, August 18, 1908 to Kenneth N. Dilley and Minnie C. (Buzzard), he retire din 1970 after 26 years of service with General Motors' Electric Motor Division. He was a member of the United Auto Workers and belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Dilley lived in Camp Point, IL at the time of his death and was married to Alpherna Marie Vogtli, who died in 1971.
Survivors include: daughters Arlene F. Elliott of Addison, IL; Barbara J. Edenburn of Gulfport, Miss; Jeramy A. Chapman of Godlewy, IL; and Judith M. Gibson of Camp Point, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sisters Pearl Johnson and Ruby Kutz, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Dilley will be buried on Friday, October 30 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum. Farnum-Holt Funeral Home will handle arrangements.
