Mrs. Ellen Theresa Diviney passed away in Minturn Wednesday, Feb 11 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Kell, following a long illness. Funeral services was Saturday morning at 9:30 at the Annunciation Church and she was buried in Leadville.
Ellen Gorman was born at Leadville October 5, 1879 and was married December 6, 1906 to Thomas Diviney in Colorado Springs. The couple resided in Leadville and in 1922, moved to Gilman, where Mr. Diviney was employed at the mines. He died in May 1945.
Mrs. Diviney moved from her Gilman home recently when she became ill and had been in the home of her daughter Mrs. Kell being cared for at the time of her death. Surviving are three daughters: Agnes Kell, Minturn; Catherine Gosheck, Pueblo; Margaret Kahon, Vallego, CA; Thomas, Jr., Red Cliff; and Bob of California.
