VAIL, Colorado “-Max Duggins, a part-time Vail, Colorado resident, was born March 17, 1927 and passed away April 15.
Max loved the mountains, the snow, the people and taverns.
Max was a pilot and aerospace engineer who served his country as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1980 and did a tour in Vietnam.
Max leaves behind his wife, Gisela; children Jean, Jill, Steve and Tricia; sons-in-law Bryan and Mike; and grandchildren Eva, Eliot and James.
Max enjoyed a long, adventurous life which he lived with passion, humility and grace. To his many friends in Vail, we ask You remember Max with a fond smile.
