Doris Gladys Paris, 91, Grand Junction, died Sept. 6, 2016, at
Mantey Heights Care Center.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United
Methodist Church.
She was a secretary and bookkeeper.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Paris Wilson of Grand
Junction; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Doris Gladys Paris passed
away on September 6, 2016,
at Mantey Heights
Rehabilitation and Care
Center in Grand Junction,
Colorado. She was 91.
Doris was born on
September 15, 1924, in
Queens, New York to Peter
Graf and Leona Moore Graf.
She spent her childhood in
Queens and graduated from Jamaica High School.
She married Verle Paris on May 17, 1944, in Queens and Verle
sadly passed away on December 24, 1968 in Mesa County. She
was a resident of Grand Junction for 56 years.
Doris was a bookkeeper and attended the First United
Methodist Church. She also belonged to the American Business
Women’s Association (ABWA) and United Methodist Women
(UMW).
Doris is survived by her daughter, Carol Paris Wilson of Grand
Junction; her grandson, Mark (Spring) Wilson; and two greatgrandchildren,
Kevin and Scott Wilson.
Her memorial service was held on Saturday, September 10,
2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Grand
Junction and her inurnment will take place on Thursday,
September 29 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver.
