George Lewis Ehmer II was born April 29, 1976 in Bakersfield, CA. He was a graduate of Bishop HS in Bishop, CA. George then served in the US Navy as a welder from 1990 to 1993. He became a resident of Colorado in 1997 and lived in Glenwood Springs. He was employed by Calco Concrete Pumping as a concrete pump operator since June 20000 working out of Rifle. George was the victim of a car accident on Jan. 11. Memorial services will be held today, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs. Services will be performed by Pastor Scott Vice. George is survived by his mother, Gailyne Reddy, and his father, George Leo Elmer, a half brother and sister and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reddy of Wofford Heights, CA. along with many aunts and uncles. He enjoyed life to its fullest.
