Helen Garcia, 93, Eckert, died Oct. 3, 2016, at her home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Taylor Funeral
Service in Delta. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary with interment to follow at Mesa View Cemetery.
She was a nurse.
Survivors include one son, Larry of Grand Junction; six daughters, Mae Parker of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lou Wilson of Cottonwood, Arizona, Diana Chacon of Eckert, Becky Marah of Cedaredge, Phoebe Burns of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Marlene Chavez of Grand Junction; one brother, Daniel Vigil of San Jose, California; two sisters, Martha Jaramillo and Rudy Madrid, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
