Martin Dean Elder, 30, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2016, in
Rangely.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.
Survivors include his wife, Jordan; one daughter, Kenadie Rae
Elder of Grand Junction; his mother, Laura Elder of Grand Junction; his father, Marty Elder of Rangely; one brother, Michael Elder of Clifton; and one sister, Amanda Elder of Crown Point, Indiana.

Martin Dean Elder II died on October 1, 2016 in Rangely, CO. He was born to Marty and Laura Elder in Grand Junction, CO on September 23, 1986.
Martin grew up in both Rangely and Grand Junction and loved the Grand Junction area. He worked as an environmental field supervisor for the oil and gas industry. Martin and Megan
Miller, together, shared their beautiful daughter, Kenadie. He
recently married Jordan Fox on September 16, 2016
Martin loved his Bronco’s and spending time with his
beautiful little family, Jordan and Kenadie. Martin was an
amazing man, friend, father, husband, and so much more. He
will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his new bride and daughter; father, Marty
(Amy) Elder; mother, Laura Elder; brother, Michael (Nicole)
Elder; sister, Amanda Elder; sister in-law, Aaren Fox;
grandparents, Jack (Jean) Elder and Merle (Carolyn) McLean;
and nephews, Espen and Easton Elder. He is proceeded in death by his uncle Merle E. McLean Jr who passed in 1990.
There will be an open casket visitation from 11 am – 12:45 pm
this Friday, October 7, 2016 at Callahan Edfast Mortuary. The
funeral will follow at 1 pm and conclude at the mortuary
Please sport your Bronco colors in Martin’s honor on this day.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the memorial
accounts at any Bank of the San Juans, in Jordan and Kenadie Elder’s names.
