Ivan Leroy Elliott, son of William and Corda Elliott, was born in Coldwater, KS on October 19, 1931 and died in Verdigre, NE on Feb. 18, 1976.

Ivan and Carol were united in marriage at Antioch Methodist Church on July 15, 1951. TO this union five children were born: Mike of Gypsum, Trish Kirby of Verdigre, NE; Cindy Mitch and Ivan, Jr., still at home, and two grandsons. Other family survivors are his mother, Corda Elliott of Fort Collins, Colorado; sisters, Ruth Pope of Fort Collins, and Nora Choate of Enif, OK. Ivan's father preceded him in death on July 7, 1975.

Ivan was in the Navy during the Korean War. When discharged he and his family lived in Kansas later moving to La Salle, Colorado where he was a plumber for 12 years. Moving to Eagle, he continued his business there until the time he decided to move to Verdigre in October of 1974 where he again established his plumbing business. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Farnum-Brown Chapel in Glenwood Springs. interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum with Rev. David O. Ferguson officiating.
