Edward Erickson, 79, Gypsum resident for over half a century, died November 6 in the Glenwood hospital. He had been in failing health fro several months. Mr. Erickson ranched on Gypsum Creek, where he had made his home for many years. His wife, Lillie, preceded him in death several years ago. Mr. Erickson was born in Norway May 29, 1886 and came to the Gypsum Valley as a young man. Funeral services were conducted in the Lutheran Church in Gypsum Nov. 9 by Rev. LeRoy Healey, Lutheran minister from Glenwood Springs. Burial was in Gypsum at the side of his wife.
Pallbearers were Maurice Casey, Edmund Bobson, Leo Daugherty, Gene Slaughter, Charles Albertson, Claude Gerard.
