John Porter- j I In ill health since last March I Mrs Ferris entered Presbyterian , Hospital in Denver Nov. 27 and | died there Dec. 8. I ! The daughter of Rose Begley j | and' Ernest Houston, she was | ! bom in Aspen Feb. 16, 1899. She attended school in Aspen and remained there until 1929, when she moved to Red Cliff,' moving to Mintum in 1941. , Mrs Ferris took an active part! in community activities and was Past Vice Grand in the Rebetoahs, Senior Vice President of the Mintum V’FW Auxiliary Post 8309 and president-elect of the same organization. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Mintum. - Pall bearers 1 were Clem Moreland, Ernest Williams, Bert Frantz, Russell Allen, Elmer Owen and Melbum Trump.
; Mrs Ferris is survived by her ; husband, Lee f Minturn; two sons: Ebby and Ernie Morgan; I a daughter, Rosa Mae Bellm, her mother, Mrs Rose Begley; ? two step-daughters: Helen Patterson and Dora Ferris and 13 j grandchildren.
