MRS. M. P. FINNICUM BURIED IN GRAND JUNCTION.
Graveyard services were held at the Qrchard Mesa cemetery m Grand Junction, Monday afternoon at 2:30 for th e late Mrs. M. P. Finnicum of Eagle. ‘ Mrs. Finnicum passed away Jan. 9, following an illriess of several weeks in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Fair, in Eagle. Church services were held by Rev. Paul A. Shields at the Methodist church in Eagle Monday morning at 10 a. m., and the body was taken to Grand Junction where it was laid to rest by the side of departed members of her family. She was born on April 11, 1872, to Robert and Nancy Humphrey in Sedalia, Mo., one of seven children. In March of J. 887 she was united in marriage to Junius Holderness, to which union four children were born, all of whom preceded their mother in death. In 1900 she was mgrried to Mark Paul Finnicum in Raton, N. M., and to this union were born six children, Jason, Fred, Ada, Donald, John and Jessie. Of these six children, two survive. , Mr. and Mrs. Finnicum moved from New Mexico to Colorado in 1924 and resided in Clifton and in Grand Junction, moving from there in 1942 when they came to Eagle to be near their daughter Jessie. The deceased lady was a member of the Christian church until she moved here, when she transferred her membership to the Methodist church. Surviving her are her husband, daughter, Jessie Fair, and son, Don Finnicum, all of Eagle! a grandson, Robert Finnicum, whom she had raised from infancy, also of Eagle; 3 sisters, 2 brothers of Texas and New Mexico; 9 grandchildren and four great grandchildre

MRS. M. P. FINNICUM DIED LAST NIGHT.
Mrs. M. P. Finnicum, who has been critically ill for the past six weeks, passed away early this morning. The elderly lady had.been in poor health for a number of months and early in December was a patient in a Glenwood hospital. Since before Christmas she has been cared for in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Fair, where she passed away. Funeral arrangements have not been mad
