Funeral services for Red Cliff resident Bonifacio Gallegos, Jr., 41, were held May 22 at St. Patrick's Church in Minturn. Burial was at Riverview Cemetery in Minturn with Father Robert White officiating. Gallegos died May 19 in Denver. He was born March 4, 1935 and was a long-time custodian of the Middle School in Minturn. Gallegos is survived by his mother, Antonia Lovato Gallegos of Del Norte and four sons and a daughter: Chris, Claude, Harold, and Debby of Espanola, New Mexico; and Bonifacio of Red Cliff. He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters: Joe of Gilman; Abedon of Red Cliff; Max of Leadville; Oliver of Avon; Dorothy Goodge of Farmington , NM; Labrie Madrill of Red Cliff and Cora Velasquez of Del Norte. Gallegos was a member of the Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Red Cliff.
