Phyllis Ann Davis Zell, 89, Clifton, died Oct. 29, 2016, at her home. Services will include a dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, with dancing afterward, at the Moose Lodge, 567 25 1/2 Road in Grand Junction. She was a dental assistant. She is survived by her husband Richard; three sons, Richard D. Zell of Lake Villa, Illinois, Keith Davis of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and Chris Davis of Mantaway, Ohio; a brother Joseph Morton of Mountain Home, Idaho; a sister Barbara Riipi of Zion, Illinois; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one greatgreat- grandchild.

Phyllis Ann Davis Zell, 89,
passed away at home on
October 29, 2016.
She was born February 24,
1927, in Waukegan, IL. She
grew up in Illinois and had
lived in Grand Junction for
the past 16 years. She was a
member of United Methodist
Church, a member of the
Loyal Order of Moose and the
Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.). Phyllis loved
dancing and socializing at the Moose Lodge, the Elks Club, and
the Eagles Club.
She is survived by her spouse of 49 years, Richard Zell; sons,
Keith Davis of Natrona Heights, PA; Christopher Davis of
Twinsburg, OH, and Richard David Zell of Lake Villa, IL;
brother, Joseph Morton of Mountain Home, ID; sister, Barbara
Riipi of Zion, IL; 15 grandchildren; numerous greatgrandchildren,
and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded
in death by sons, Thomas J. Davis and Bruce Davis; daughter,
Deborah Young, and sisters, Dorothy, Margaret, Shirley, and
Connie.
Inurnment will take place at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery
of Western Colorado on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00
p.m. A celebration of life will be November 19th at the Moose
Lodge, 567 25 ½ Road, Grand Junction with dinner at 6:00 p.m.
and dancing to follow at 7:00 p.m.
