GEORGE GARDNER DIES !
Another old-time * citizen passed , away with the death of George Gard ner Tuesday at the County Home 1 in Gypsum . The deceased was born In Illinois 74 years ago , and came co Colorado some forty years ago . Hcj lived In the Roatrlng Fork valley , near Carbondale , for a number ol * years , and then came to , Eagle county and took up a homestead on East , Brush creek , where he lived for many | years . For the past few years hi i has been poor health and for a year , j or more has been an Inmate of the ] County Home . He was buried by Mortician O . W . Meyer in the cem- > etery at Gypsum Wednesday fore-i noon .
There are eighteen sugar factories going in the state . The total money that will be given the farmers for the white gold Is a wee bit over fourteen million dollars .
