Gill services set for Sunday
Bruce R. Gill III, an 11-year resident of the Vail Valley, died Oct. 11 at his home in West Vail.
Born and raised in Los Angeles and a graduate of Arizona State University, Gill loved sailing, sports and was a frequent visitor to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his father, Bruce R. Gill II, of Los Angeles, sister Violet O'Brien (Dennis Williams) and niece Rita Williams of Houston, Texas, uncles Sanford Robertson Robert (Bob) Gill, niece and nephew Montana and Connor Gill of Los Angeles, aunt Susan Gill, niece Alexandra Ward of Ross, Ga., aunt Pam Williams (Treat), niece and nephew Eleanor and Gil Williams of New York City, uncle Terry Keown and niece Michelle Keown of Palm Desert, Calif., and stepfather John Aguilar of Tempe, Ariz.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Sanctuary Night Club above the Tap Room (in the old Cyrano's building) at the top of Bridge Street in Vail Village. People who have photos that may be used for the memorial service are asked to call 977-0100, and arrangements will be made to pick them up.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, P.O. Box 3861, Eagle, CO 81631. Include Gill's name in the memo field for donation purposes.
