Edith E. (Stephens) Haley
Williams, 87, died September
17, 2016, in Durango, CO.
Edie was born January 10,
1929, in Norwood, CO to
Albert and Rose Stephens.
She married Kenneth Haley
on August 23, 1946. They
raised six children in
Norwood, where Edie worked
at White’s Mercantile and
later for the Colorado Extension Service.
Edie’s life was filled with her own children and those in the
community through 4-H. She enjoyed golf, traveling, gardening,
swimming and family events. Edie married Jack Williams July
24, 1994.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; sister, Nancy (Floyd)
Todd; children, Dennis (Marna) Haley, David (Phyllis) Haley,
Donna (Neil) Riddle, Duane Haley, Diane (Bill) MacGuffie, and
Delores (Lyle) King; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren,
and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Noon., Sunday, October 16,
2016, at the Norwood Colorado Cemetery.
