William "Jack" Stone, 93, of
Tucson, Arizona passed away
November 15, 2016.
Jack was born in Hominy,
Oklahoma on January 26,
1923. He is a Veteran of
WWII, serving in the Navy as
a Gunner’s Mate.
On May 15, 1946, he
married the love of his life,
Joy Stone, who passed away
in 2012. Jack was a longtime resident of Colorado and retired
from Mountain Bell after 35 years, moving to Tucson in 2012.
He was an outdoorsman and especially loved hunting and
fishing.
Jack is survived by his children, Beth (Gary) Roberts, Jack
(Leslie) Stone, and Jeanne (Bob) Renck; grandchildren, Derrick,
Darren, Mara, Anna, Andrea, Mike and Sean; and 18 greatgrandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 19,
2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
Jack will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
