Oneita King Higgins
October 15, 1928 - December 27, 2016
Oneita King Higgins, 88, of Palisade, died December 27,
2016. She was born on October 15, 1928, to Berbie and Jesse in Milton, Tennessee. Oneita was a homemaker.
She had a degree in Bookkeeping, but after her children were born, she dedicated her
time to her family.
Oneita also loved sewing, knitting, and cooking. She was a
member of the Grand Junction Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Chris Higgins of Highlands Ranch,
CO, and Coleman Higgins of Rifle, CO; five grandchildren, and
nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Higgins;
her parents, and her sisters and brother.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Grand Junction Church of
Christ on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
