at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was a photographer and U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kruse; three daughters, Dawn
Palen of Winslow, Arizona, Donna Palen of Richmond, Missouri,
and Jessica Palen of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.
