Dennis James Branscom,
born in California on August
25, 1943, rode off into the
sunset in San Carlos, Mexico
on February 3, 2017.
Dennis was a kind soul. A
unique character with a social
personality and a witty sense
of humor that often brought
smiles to the faces around
him. He had a love for
motorcycles and beer. His
first trophy was won in 1959
at Whitewater Hill. He desert
raced and participated in flare
runs (at night), smoke runs
(day), eight hour marathons
and many other events.
Dennis was the son of
Everett and Afton and brother
to Carol and Linda. He
graduated Central High
School, class of 1961 in Grand Junction, CO. He was a member
of the US Army and served in Germany, honorably discharged.
He then moved to Alaska in 1975 to work on the pipe line. He
married Eva Genora Reagin and built a cabin in Anchor Point,
AK. Dennis and his children moved back to Grand Junction in
1989.
Retired, he resided in San Carlos, Mexico where he married
Edith Sandoval where he carried out his last days. He is
survived by his three children, Everett (Matt), Rebecca (Becky)
and Jonathan (Jonnie).
Celebration of Life is planned for spring time
