Rosa Julia “Rose” Byers, 93, Paonia, died March 6, 2017, at
Delta County Memorial Hospital.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at the Friends Church
in Paonia. Inurnment will follow at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Calder of Coos Bay, Oregon, and
Mike Byers of Paonia; two daughters, Frances “Carolyn” Pingel of
Benton City, Washington, and Michelle Cumpston of Paonia; one
sister, Frances Wolff of Olympia, Washington; 20 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
