Former Gunnison resident Hugh D. “Sonny” Carpenter, 80,
Delta, died Feb. 24, 2017, at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Odd Fellows Lodge
116 in Delta. Inurnment is planned in May at Gunnison Cemetery
in Gunnison.
Survivors include his wife, Evonne; two daughters, Diana “Lynn”
Cadrin and Sheila Denise Carpenter, both of Delta; one brother,
George Carpenter of Salida; and one sister, Joyce Ann Bromley of
Platteville.
