Harley is preceded in death
by his father, Kennie Gilbert
Dolan in June, 1981, and his
mother, Mary Katherine
"Kathy" Dolan in December
1974; grandparents, Floyd and
Grace Dolan, Mary and Howard Howetter, Lester Cady and
many other close relatives. Harley is survived by his parents,
Dannie and Beverly Dolan; brothers Dwayne (Darla) of South
Dakota, and Jimmy Dolan of Castle Rock CO; sister, Tamara
Lewis of Monument, CO; nieces, Chandal Lewis, Danielle
Lewis, Kymberleigh Dolan, and Emily Dolan; nephews, Marcus
Lewis and Keneron Dolan; his grandmothers, Mary Jo
"Grandma Cady" and "Grandma Thelma" Lawler, and many
other relatives in Colorado and across the country.
Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 8th,
2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Church, 765 24 Rd., Grand
Junction, CO 81505. His ashes will be laid to rest with his
parents in Elmwood Cemetery, 1175 17 1/4 Road, Fruita, CO
81521. Following the service we will be sharing stories and
food at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 214 Pabor Ave,
Fruita, 81521

Harley Jay Dolan was born on October 1, 1971 in Denver, Colorado. He passed away on March 20, 2017 at the age of 45. Harley was adopted at 10 years old by Dannie and Beverly Dolan. He lived in Denver for a short time as a child, but ultimately he grew up in Monument CO with his siblings, Dwayne, Jimmy and Tammie. He graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School in 1989, then lived in Denver for a while and reunited with his high school sweetheart, Amy Esparza. They married in May of 1996 in Lees Summit, MO, where he became a Journeyman Electrician. After he and Amy divorced he returned to Denver and eventually moved to Grand Junction where he worked in construction with his cousin, Lavelle Dolan. He pursued his CDL and worked for Hines Construction as well as the City of Grand Junction on The Annual Clean-up. Harley enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to Christian music, spending time with family, watching movies and telling bad jokes. Family was very important to him.

Harley is preceded in death by his father Kennie Gilbert Dolan who passed away in June, 1981 in Fruita, CO and his mother Mary Katherine “Kathy” Dolan in December 1974 in Denver, CO; as well as grandparents Floyd “Granddaddy” Dolan, Grace “Grammie” Dolan, Mary “Grandma” Howetter, Lester “Grandpa” Cady.

Harley is survived by his parents Dannie and Beverly Dolan, brother’s Dwayne (and wife Darla) of South Dakota and Jimmy Dolan of Castle Rock CO, and sister Tamara Lewis of Monument CO, nieces Chandal Lewis, Danielle Lewis, Kymberleigh Dolan, and Emily Dolan, nephew’s Marcus Lewis and Keneron Dolan. His grandmother’s Mary Jo “Grandma Cady” and Thelma “Grandma” Lawler. And many other relatives in Colorado and across the country.
