Judith passed away after a
short illness on March 28,
2017.
Judith, of Cedaredge, CO,
was born in Boulder, CO to
Robert E. Smith and Mary A.
(Thompson) Smith on May 2,
1948.
In 1950, the family moved
back to Cedaredge, CO.
Judith was the eldest of six
children. She graduated from Cedaredge High School in 1966.
Judith married the love of her life, David L. Aitken, on
December 19, 1986.
She had many careers throughout her life but was best known
for her gardening, herbs, baking and quilting.
Judith is survived by her husband, David of Cedaredge;
daughter, Catherine Weeks, of Grand Junction; daughter and
son-in-law, Deborah and John Rash of Cedaredge; three
grandchildren, Alyssa (22), Jesse (20), and Isabella (15); five
siblings and her large loving family.
Judith was preceded in death by both of her parents.
