JACK GRIMES DIES.
Fuiypal services were held-in Mccoy Saftday, May 4- for Jack Grimes, a resident, of Eagle county of the ‘ past 62 years. , . Mr. Grimes had been ill for the rspast yea 62 past 2 years, the last of which was spent in a Denver hospital. He passi ed away April 29. Born in Denver July 15, 1877, Jack Grimes moved with his parents to the county 62 years ago, and had made that his home since. During : his lifetime there he made a host i of friends who will greatly feel the, loss of a good neighbor and fine friend. , ,j He is survived by his wife, Mae; ; 3 brothers, Everett, Albert, and Guy, i all of McCoy; a sister. Mary Wilson ? of Deer Creek, Okla.; twb foster i sons, Delbert and Milford Miller of McCoy and Denver. All of his family were present for the last services, which were held from the McCoy church Sunday- by Rev. Shay of phippsburg. Life-long friends of Mr. Grimes who carried the remains to the last resting place were Carl Forster, Chas. Albertson, Calvin James, Orman Hurt, Billy Bboco and Clyde Schlegel. Music for the fiperal was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Vawter and Mrs. Chauncey Moorehead. The popularity of Mr. Grimes was very evident in the great number of friends who crowded into the church for their last farewell to one of McCoys pioneers.

Mc Coy News ......... The members of our community Were greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Jack Grimes. Rev. Willis F. Shea of Phippsburg, officiated at the servises Sunday afternoon, and intemient was in the McCoy cemetery. We all extend our heartfelt sympathy to the survivors.
