He was born October 18, 1883 in Czechoslovakia and died Friday in Denver at the age of 83. Mr. Horacek came to Brainard, Neb. when he was 6 years old. At Wahoo, Neb. in 1910, hje married Anna J. Komenda and farmed near Brainard. For about 30 years the HOraceks ranched near Radium, and Mr. Horacek retired in 1953 and moved to Denver. He had been a member of ZCBJ Lodge since 1911. He is survived by his wife, a son, Stanley T. of Lakewood; three daughters Irene Reida, Harps, KS; Marcella Gerth, Denver; and Elanor Forster, Radium. Three sisters, 17 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren survive.
