Eckert, Colorado resident,
Victor G. Petranovich, passed
away on April 13, 2017 at his
home at the age of 73, after a
long battle with MS and
cancer, which he tackled
bravely and with a positive
attitude. All through his long
illness, he always had a smile
on his face.
Graveside services will be
held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Cedaredge
Cemetery in Cedaredge, Colorado. Help us celebrate Vic’s life
by wearing Denver Bronco attire.
Victor George, the son of George and Lola Petranovich, was
born on November 22, 1943 in Cameo, Colorado but spent most
of his childhood in Palisade, Colorado where he graduated from
Palisade High School. He was active in most sports through his
school years. He was a member of the 1958 Palisade Football
State Champions, their first football title.
After graduation, Victor proudly served his country as a
Sargent for the air police in the United States Air Force. He was
awarded a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct
Medal.
Vic is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon; his sons, Craig
Petranovich; Chad (Terri) Petranovich and Marty (Kirsten)
Humble; daughter, Tasha (Quincy) Christian; sister, Leah
Baldwin; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor
Funeral Service and Crematory.

Victor G. Petranovich, 73, Eckert, died April 13, 2017, at his
home.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cedaredge Cemetery
in Cedaredge. Wear Denver Broncos attire.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; three sons, Craig Petranovich,
Chad Petranovich, and Marty Humble; one daughter, Tasha
Christian; one sister, Leah Baldwin; nine grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
