DEATH OF JOSEPH H . GOODRICH
Joseph H. Goodrich , who for several years has resided on a ranch a short distance above Minturn on Eagle river , but who was one of the old timer miners of the district , died last Friday at the homo of his sister at Cunlville , near Spokane , Washington . Mr . Goodricli had been in failing health for snnio . timo , his ailment being the dread disease , miners * consumption . Only recently , lii _^ _-uver . did he give up his work entirely . Some time sinco ho _wdnt to the hospital at Salida , hoping to got relief , but physicians said they couldi dq . nothiiig for hi in . Goodrich came to Eagle couuty nearly Uvenly-llvo years ago , and was well _Knotvn . For years hn followed mining , but ot late has followed ranching as the state of bis health demanded out door employment . IJe was about hfty years of age 111 the time of his death .
