WILLIAM GORDON DIES.
Following five years of illness, William Gordon, one of Gypsum valley’s fine gentlemen, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, New Year’s eve, at his home in Gypsum. Mr. Gordon, with his brothers, came from Oklahoma many years ago, and he has since been a resident of Gypsum valley. He was a splendid citizen, loyal, and a good neighbor. For the past five years he has been in poor health, gradually getting worse the past year, until death called him Monday evening. Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Friday, in Gypsum and the body laid away in Cedar Hill cemetery.
