He is survived by one son, John Martinez Jr. of Sterling; one
daughter, Melanie Martinez of Pueblo; parents Felix and Regina
Ortega of Monte Vista; seven brothers, Don Martinez, Gene Ortega
and Robert Martinez, all of Monte Vista, Vincent Ortega of Center,
Alex Gomez of Denver, Dario Ortega of Espanola, New Mexico, and
Arnold Ortega of Grand Junction; one sister, Jessica Ortega of Salt
Lake City, Utah; and three grandchildren.
