He was a wildlife refuge manager.
He is survived by his wife Penny; one son Jim Jr. of Grand Junction;
one daughter, Rene Pearson of Vernal, Utah; one sister, Annette
Nelson of Willows, California; seven grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
