MRS. M. L. HAWKINS DIES.

Mrs. M. L. Hawkins died Tuesday evening, Feb. 29, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. L. Zeller, in Eagle. Mrs. Hawkins, who was nearing her 80th birthday, had come to Eagle only a week before from her home in Pueblo for a short visit before going to California to visit a son. She was taken ill a few days after her arrival here, and her death came suddenly. Mrs. Hawkins made her home here several years ago, when she made many acquaintances in the community. Funeral services will be held from the Eagle Methodist Community church today, Friday, at 2 o’clock p. m., and burial made in the Eagle cemetery.
