Louise Janz, 62, Fruita, died May 5, 2017, at her home. No services will take place.She was a licensed practical nurse.Survivors include her husband, Steward; two sons, Cristopher Paul of Grand Junction and Nathan Edward of Allenton, Wiscon-sin; two brothers, Tom Barnes of Hartford, Wisconsin, and Paul Barnes of Milwaukee; one sister, Leslie Reilly of De Pere, Wiscon-sin; and three grandchildren.Memorial contributions to HopeWest, 3090B N. 12th St., Grand Junction 81506.

Louise Janz
February 20, 1955 - May 5, 2017
Louise "Lou" Janz, 62, of
Fruita, lost her battle with
cancer on May 5, 2017.
Louise was a 1973 Slinger,
Wisconsin graduate, who
went on to become a nurse (in
which she excelled). She was
an LPN in Hartford,
Wisconsin, and later on in
Colorado. In 1983 she married
her best friend, Stew Janz, and
lived and built a livelihood and raised their two sons, Chris and
Nathan, in Breckenridge, Colorado. In 2000 she decided to
move to Fruita where she continued her nursing career ending at
WMA, where she worked for the last eight years.
Louise was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Sadler
Barnes, and father, George Barnes. She was survived by her
loving husband, Steward; sons, Christopher (Julia) Janz, and
Nathan (Amy) Janz; three grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden, and
Jemma Janz, and siblings, Thomas (Mary) Barnes, Leslie (Jim)
Reilly, and Paul Barnes.
Louise wished no services to be held.
