OBITUARY OF RANDA ENUDSEN HILTON .
Randa Knudsen Hilton was born in Fremont , Nebr ., June 26 , 1902 . She spent the early years of her life in Nebraska , residing in the vicinity of Crawford . Randa Knudsen was united in marriage with Lawrence E . Hilton of Crawford , April 1 , 1921 . Mr . and Mrs . Hilton made their home in Broken Bow , Nebr ., for four years . Two children were born to this union , Catherine and Madeline . Catherine pre
ceded her mother in death . Mr . and Mrs . Hilton returned to Crawford to make their home in 1926 . Mrs . Hilton suffered a severe illness in 1928 that finally resulted in her removal to Beth El hospital in Colorado Springs , Colo ., in January 1939 . She passed away there , July 17 , 1940 . She is survived bv her husband , Law
rence Hilton , of Eagle , Colo ., her daughter , Madeline ; her parents , Mr . and Mrs . Hans Knudsen of Crawford ; and two brothers , Harold , o f Minturn , Colo . ; and Lyman of Craw r ford ; another sister , Mrs . Thos . C . Hilton , of Andrews , Nebr . In the years that preceded her illness , Mrs . Hilton was active in community enterprises . She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary . Many
friends deeply regret her eatly departure . Funeral services were held at the Houston Funeral Home in Crawford on Sunday afternoon , July 21 , at 2 oclock . Rev . Ben T . Meckel of the Congregational church officiated . Interment was made in Crawford cemetery .
