MRS . JANE DARLING JAMES .
Jane Josephine Darling was born in Salina , Ivan ., on November 4 , 1863 . She came to Colorado when 9 years of age with her parents , living in Colorado and New Mexico the remainder of her life . In 1879 she was married to Burton Mackfield Porter . To this union were born six children , all of whom survive their mother , and were at her side when death called Mrs . James to her last rest . In 1925 she was married to A . - W . James . Last sprin g the deceased underwent an eye operation , from which she never fully recovered , passing away on Thursday night , Oct . 16 , at the home of her daughter , Mrs . Chas . Hartman , near Eagle . Funeral services were conducted by Rev . O . F . Archer in Eagle at the Methodist church , and burial was made in the Glenwood cemetery on Saturday afFernoon .
Surviving dceased are : James Portor , son , Canon City ; Mrs . George Cameron , daughter , Lamar j Mrs . Charles Hartman , daughter , Eagle ; Mrs . James Walber , daughter , Lamont , Wyo . ; Mrs . foer , daughtetr , Lamont ) , Wyoj . ; Mm Olive Hart , daughter , Casper , Wyo . ; also 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren . Pall bearers at the funeral were : Ray Angel , Robert Livingston , Charles . S . Merrill , Silas Ray , Glen Moore , and John J . Holland .
