Grand Junction.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of
Mary Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Inurnment will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemtery.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include nine children; 32 grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.

“Judy”, 81, passed away on
Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in
Grand Junction, Colorado
after a short illness. She was
surrounded by her nine
children.
Judy was born in Wheeling,
West Virginia on April 23,
1936, to parents, Edward R. and Lucille Ann Mueller. She was
the third of six children. She married the love of her life,
Timothy Cullen Woomer, on June 16, 1956. They were married
for 48 years until his death in 2003.
She graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy in Wheeling,
West Virginia in 1954.
In 1974, Judy and Tim moved to Grand Junction to found the
firm Triune, Inc in their garage. They worked hard and loved life
together. Judy loved her husband, family, work, friends, church,
travel, bridge, tennis, volunteering, sports, shopping, Makers
Mark, and Oreo cookies.
She is survived by her nine children and their spouses, Mary
(Greg) Adams of Gulf Breeze, FL; Timothy (Diane) Woomer of
Hobbs, NM; Ann (Pat) Connor of Castle Pines, CO; Jerome
Woomer of Denver, CO; Ellen (Todd) Haebe, Ghana, Africa;
Tod (Romaine) Woomer of Morgantown, WV; Christopher
(Leona) Woomer of Grand Junction, CO; Megan (Grady)
Vanderhoofven, Lenoir City, TN, and Elizabeth (Brian)
Paterick, Chandler, AZ; 32 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
She is also survived by sisters, Paula Wojcik of
Grand Junction and Mary Jane Morrell of Salt Lake City, UT.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers,
Edward and John Mueller, and sister, Susan Carroll.
Judy cherished being a wife and mother and dedicated her life
to serving others. She had a gift of making everyone feel
important and loved which is why each of her children always
believed he or she was her favorite. Her enthusiasm and joy of
life was contagious. She was always ready for a trip, a Bronco
game or a big party. You could see Judy’s faith everyday
through her actions. She was humble and grateful for her
blessings and always believed that she lived a charmed life. Her
smile, laughter and gentle goodness will be missed by all who
knew her.
Judy was a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary
Catholic Church, where a Mass of the Resurrection will be
celebrated on Saturday, May 13, at 11:00 a.m. A rosary will be
recited on Friday, May 12, at 7:00 p.m. at The Immaculate Heart
of Mary Catholic Church.
