90 YEAR OLD BASALT MAN BURIED MAY 20.

Joseph Hurtgen, 90 years old resident of Basalt died at his home May 18, and was buried in the Glen wood cemetery, Saturday afternoon. May 20, following services held by the Methodist minister, Rev. H. H. Baker from Burdge chapel in Glenwood. He was born January 28, 1860 in Superior, Mich., and had lived in western Colorado for the post 81 years. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Joe, Jr., and three grandchildren.
