Darlene H. Langford passed
away at HopeWest Hospice in
Fruita, CO on April 17, 2017.
Darlene was born in Fruita,
CO on January 26, 1939, to
Roy and Marie Pierce, the
oldest of four children. She
attended all 12 years of school
in Fruita, graduating in 1957.
She married W.D. "Spike"
Langford on July 2, 1958.
Darlene is survived by her husband; daughters, Deanna Fowler
of Grand Junction; Denise Buniger of Fruita; four
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Pierce
of Fruita, and brother, Tommy Pierce of Denver. She is preceded
in death by her parents, and brother, Delbert Pierce.
Darlene loved her grandchildren, family gatherings, picnics,
camping, yard sales, and watching Spike’s garden grow.
No services are planned, per her request.
Brown’s Funeral Home provided cremation services.
