PAUL KROELLING
In the death of Paul Kroelling at his ranch home near Avon Wednesday of last week , another of the pioneer immigrants of the past century to this country hag passed on . Coming to Leadville in 1889 from his native Germany , where ha was born March 26 , 1864 , Paul KroeUing engaged in operating a slaughter house and retail meat market , and established a reputation in that community for hi s specially-prepared sausages . Forty-six years ago he married Miss Anna Winters , and to this union were born two sons . Fred and Albert , the latter dying in infancy . In November 1915 ttre family moved to a ranch near Avon in this county , where they have since resided , and Paul KroeUing and bis family were among the most highly respected citizens of the community and the county . He was a member of the the A O . U . W , lodge . He is survived by his widow and one son , Fred , living at Avon Funeral service wa s held Sunday afternoon at the Moynahan-OMalja chapel in Leadville . interment being madei n the A . O . U . W . cemetery at that place . Pallbearers were Joseph Walsh . Charles Edwards . Charles Bargler of Leadville ; Harry Nottingham , J , J . Maboney , and Martin Eichler , neighbora of Avon .
